ON “MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE”

The paradoxical knowledge that one’s own life can be improved when we offer liberally to other people. Paul reminds the Ephesians whom he is visiting that Jesus taught His supporters to help each other liberally and said they would discover favoring in doing as such. This platitude of Jesus isn’t found in the Gospels however is steady with His instructing there. “I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  Acts 20:35 KJV
