ON “LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF”

The need to cherish everybody. Jesus clarifies that the best decrees are to love God and to ‘love thy neighbor as thyself’. Utilizing the story of the Good Samaritan, He at that point characterizes neighbor as anybody in need. It is later accentuated by Paul and James in the epistles. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like, unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:37-39 KJV see also Galatians 5:14; James 2:8
