The River That Gladden The City Of God

The River That Gladden The City Of God

“You visit the earth and water it, you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.”(Ps. 65:9) INDEED, “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.”(46:4)

A tide has ebb and flow, even a most dreadful tsunami. Can God’s life and power in the Holy Spirit be characterized by like phenomena? By no means! The life of Christ in the Power of the Spirit that is available to us knows no ebb, but is for ever flowing. It does not rise and fall as the ocean, but is like a river, always a-flood. The tide must ebb at a certain hour. In the Source of the living water there is no such “variation or shadow due to change”(Jas. 1:17). Our Jesus does not change. (Heb. 13:8) If the fountain of life within the believer ever becomes restrained and ceases to flow, it is not because there is anything wrong with the inlet; it is the outlet which has become obstructed. The water of life must have a way through. It must go somewhere. Others must enjoy it. The answer is simple: first clear the outlet and it will flow again unceasingly.

CONFESS AS FOLLOWS:
Jesus gave me the authority to use His name. And that which I bind on earth is bound in heaven. And that which I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world. I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective against me in the name of Jesus. (Matt. 16:19; John 16:23,24; Eph. 6:12)
Praise God!
