“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.”(Hebrews 7:25) INDEED, “While we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Romans 5:10)

How could the Lord ever have borne the burdens of others if He had been all the time thinking about His own great suffering? But He did not. Instead, He spent His days on earth as though He had no burdens of His own, and gave Himself in sympathy as if He had nothing else to do. Nor was He sympathetic only to the people of His day.

Jesus is full of it and much sympathy for us this day. Often you may feel that nobody cares for you, but the fact is, Christ does always. At times, your burdens seem intolerable and earthly friends appear quite powerless to help and understand. The fact stands, Jesus is the ever present help in time like this. Jesus is a Friend who is always at hand to lift your heavy load. Though seated in the heavens, He seems to bend down in honor of taken you as His personal delight, and is deeply concerned with your welfare.

He feels for you in your trouble and will fly to your support. Call on Him: He ever lives. HE is ever ready to meet with you at your point of needs. HE is interceding , pray for, or entreat on your behalf. Jesus is our defender, and HE will vindicate us.
