CAC Nigeria and Overseas: A Prophetic Call to Truth as the Crisis Returns to National Spotlight By Professor Ojo Emmanuel Ademola General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas
A Crisis Reawakened: Why the Nation Is Talking About CAC Again.
In recent weeks, the long‑standing crisis within Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria and Overseas has resurfaced with unprecedented force across Nigeria’s media landscape. What began as a quiet institutional dispute has now become a national conversation—trending across social media platforms, generating tens of millions of views, comments, and reactions. This renewed attention did not arise by accident. It is the direct consequence of a prophetic moment that unfolded at the 2025 Pastors’ Conference of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, where I, as General Evangelist, issued a solemn call to the Nigerian press: “Do not moonlight this event. Investigate the truth behind the CAC crisis. Let the nation know what truly happened since 1990.”
At that same press conference, the principal officers of the Mission made a united appeal that the Judiciary expedite all pending cases relating to the crisis. That call has now echoed across the nation. The Spirit of God is stirring the waters again. The truth is rising to the surface. And the nation is watching.
Why the Crisis Cannot Be Silenced Any Longer
For more than three decades, the crisis in CAC has been treated as an internal matter—something to be whispered about, managed quietly, or swept under the ecclesiastical carpet. But truth has a voice. And when truth is suppressed, it grows louder.
The crisis has resurfaced because:
- The nation is tired of religious opacity
- The Church is tired of division
- The youth are demanding accountability
- The media is finally asking the right questions
- The judiciary is being called to act
- Heaven is demanding truth
- This is not a moment for silence.
- It is a moment for truth.
The Prophetic Mandate:
Nothing Against the Truth, but for the Truth Scripture declares:
“For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”
— 2 Corinthians 13:8
This is the spiritual foundation of this article.
This is the prophetic mandate of this moment.
This is the divine requirement for CAC Nigeria and Overseas. Truth is not an option.
Truth is not a negotiation.
Truth is not a political tool.
Truth is the foundation of revival.
The crisis in CAC will not end through diplomacy, compromise, or public relations.
It will end through truth.
Why the Media Must Continue Its Investigation
At the 2025 Pastors’ Conference, I called on journalists to investigate—not to sensationalise, not to distort, but to uncover truth.
The media must investigate:
- The authentic Certificate of Incorporation 1985 No. 147
- The fraudulent certificates procured in 1991, 1995, and 2021
- The false narrative that Pastor Nelson Udofia “stole” the certificate
- The forceful takeovers of assemblies in the 1990s
- The arrests and intimidation of pastors
- The political manipulation behind the crisis
- The occupation of CAC properties by a faction
- The failed peace moves documented in Why Peace Moves Failed
- The attempt to create two heads for one Church
The Nigerian press must not be intimidated.
The Nigerian press must not be silenced.
The Nigerian press must not be compromised.
The truth must be told.
The Judiciary Must Now Act
The principal officers of CAC Nigeria and Overseas have already made a united call:
“Let the Judiciary expedite all CAC cases. Let justice be done.”
Justice delayed is justice denied.
Justice denied is truth suppressed.
Truth suppressed is revival delayed.
The courts must now:
- Prioritise the CAC cases
- Hear them without delay
- Deliver judgments without fear
- Uphold the rule of law
- Affirm the authentic certificate
- Restore order to the Church
The judiciary is not being asked to take sides.
It is being asked to uphold truth.
The Trending Storm: Why Millions Are Engaging
The current media storm is not a coincidence.
It is a divine orchestration.
Millions are engaging because:
- Nigerians are spiritually sensitive
- The youth are truth‑hungry
- The crisis affects national institutions like JABU
- The Church is a moral compass
- The public is tired of religious manipulation
- The truth resonates with the human conscience
This is not just a CAC matter.
It is a national matter.
It is a spiritual matter.
It is a prophetic matter.
The Heart of the Crisis: Truth vs. Falsehood
At its core, the CAC crisis is not about:
- Leadership titles
- Administrative structures
- Regional influence
- Personal ambition.
It is about truth:
Truth about the certificate.
Truth about the trustees.
Truth about the 1990 revolution.
Truth about the peace moves.
Truth about the properties.
Truth about the constitution.
Truth about the prophetic mandate.
Truth about the identity of CAC
The crisis will end the moment truth is enthroned.
The Prophetic Warning: Two Heads Cannot Lead One Church
The recent claim that God has permitted CAC to operate with two administrations is a theological impossibility.
One Church
Two Presidents
Two structures
One name
This is not unity. It is confusion.
Jesus said: “There shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
— John 10:16
Apostle Babalola warned: “God has spread only one mat for His Church.”
Heaven has never approved two heads for one body.
The Prophetic Call: Return to the Authentic Foundation
The authentic foundation is:
The authentic Certificate 1985 No. 147
The authentic trustees appointed before the crisis
The authentic prophetic mandate
The authentic apostolic order
The authentic identity of CAC
Unity cannot come through deception.
Unity cannot come through fraudulent certificates.
Unity cannot come through rebellion.
Unity can only come through truth.
The Way Forward: A Peace Built on Truth
Peace in CAC will not come through:
- Political negotiation
- Emotional appeals
- Public relations
- Forced reconciliation
- Cosmetic unity services
Peace will come through:
- Truth
- Repentance
- Justice
- Restoration
- Obedience
- Divine visitation
The Church must return to the authentic certificate.
The factions must return to the truth.
The judiciary must deliver justice.
The media must continue its investigation.
The members must demand accountability.
The leaders must submit to God.
A Final Prophetic Declaration
CAC Nigeria and Overseas will return to One Fold and One Shepherd.
Not because men desire it.
Not because committees negotiate it.
Not because factions agree to it.
But because God has decreed it.
The truth is marching forward.
The Spirit is moving.
The nation is watching.
The Church is awakening.
The crisis is ending.
Revival is coming.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
