Friends, have you not heard that true prayer has nothing to do with self-righteousness, but everything to do with sincerity? The tax collector in Luke 18:9–14 did not present a résumé—he presented repentance. He did not boast—he bowed. And GOD heard him.

As a child of divine mercy, power, and covenant fulfilment, your prayers must not mirror the posture of the Pharisee. The Pharisee prayed to himself, not to GOD. He believed GOD owed him thanks for his fasting, tithes, and moral checklist. But the tax collector knew he owed GOD everything.
