PN 1). Glory in Gratitude, Surrender, and Divine Favour

In Renewal Pentecostal theology, Glory in Gratitude, Surrender, and Divine Favour is the radiant manifestation of GOD’s Presence when believers respond to HIS Mercy with thanksgiving, yield fully to JESUS CHRIST’s Lordship, and walk under the empowering influence of THE HOLY SPIRIT. It is not passive—it is prophetic. Gratitude unlocks joy, surrender activates purpose, and divine favour establishes supernatural success. This Glory is visible, transferable, and unstoppable.

🔹 Core Lessons from Scripture

1. GOD’s Glory Is Revealed in the Fragility of Time and the Urgency of Thanksgiving (Psalm 90:3–6, 12–14).

The psalmist reflects on the brevity of life, like grass that flourishes in the morning and fades by evening. He pleads for wisdom to number our days and for YAHWEH’s mercy to satisfy us early. This is Exceptional Glory—a posture of thanksgiving that redeems time and fills life with joy.

“Satisfy us every morning with YOUR mercy so that we may sing joyfully and rejoice all our days.”

2. GOD’s Glory Is Manifested in the Beauty of HIS Favour and Instruction (Psalm 90:17; Psalm 119:135).

The psalmist asks YAHWEH to let HIS favour rest upon us and to establish the work of our hands. He also seeks the light of GOD’s face and the teaching of HIS statutes. This is Exceeding Glory—a life beautified by divine favour and shaped by spiritual instruction.

“Let the kindness of the Lord our GOD be with us. Make us successful in everything we do.”

3. GOD’s Glory Is Costly Yet Rewarding in Discipleship (Luke 14:25–33).

JESUS CHRIST teaches that following HIM requires complete surrender—even above family and possessions. Discipleship is not casual; it demands counting the cost. This is Shining Glory—a life laid down in total devotion, producing eternal fruit.

“Those who do not carry their own cross and follow ME cannot be MY disciples.”

4. GOD’s Glory Is Expressed in Redemptive Relationships and Spiritual Transformation (Philemon 9–10, 12–17).

Paul appeals to Onesimus, who was once useless but is now useful, not just as a servant but also as a beloved brother in Christ. This is Glorious Manifestation—a thanksgiving for transformed lives and reconciled relationships that reflect the heart of JESUS CHRIST.

“Welcome him as you would welcome me.”

PN 2). Glory in Prophetic Fulfilment, Salvation, and Covenant Joy

🔹 Core Lessons from Scripture

1. GOD’s Glory Is Revealed in the Birthplace of Redemption (Micah 5:1–4).

Though Bethlehem is small among Judah’s cities, YAHWEH chooses it as the birthplace of Israel’s future ruler. HIS Origins stretch into eternity, and HE will shepherd HIS People with strength and majesty. This is Exceptional Glory—a prophetic promise fulfilled in humility, yet radiating divine authority.

> “He will lead them with the strength of YAHWEH, with the majestic name of YAHWEH his ELOHIM.”

2. GOD’s Glory Is Celebrated in Personal Praise and Deliverance (Psalm 13:6).

The Psalmist declares joyful praise because YAHWEH has been good to him. This is Exceeding Glory—a heart that sings not from ease, but from the revelation of GOD’s Goodness in the midst of struggle.

> “I will sing to YAHWEH because HE has been good to me.”

3. GOD’s Glory Is Manifested in the Genealogy and Incarnation of CHRIST (Matthew 1:1–16).

The lineage of YESHUA CHRIST traces generations of promise, grace, and redemption. From Abraham to David to Mary, God’s Covenant plan unfolds. This is Shining Glory—a divine orchestration of history culminating in the birth of the Saviour.

“This is the list of ancestors of YESHUA CHRIST, descendant of David and Abraham.”

4. GOD’s Glory Is Fulfilled in the Virgin Birth and Divine Presence (Matthew 1:18–23).

Mary conceives by THE HOLY SPIRIT, and YESHUA is born to save HIS People from their sins. The Prophecy of Immanuel—“GOD is with us”—comes alive. Glorious Manifestation is a supernatural intervention that brings salvation and eternal hope.

🔹 Core Lessons from Scripture

1. GOD’s Glory Is Released Through True Fasting and Compassionate Justice (Isaiah 58:6–11).

YAHWEH defines acceptable fasting not by ritual, but by action: loosening bands of wickedness, feeding the hungry, housing the poor, and clothing the naked. When these are practised, light breaks forth, healing springs up, and THE GLORY OF THE LORD becomes our rear guard. This is Exceptional Glory—a divine response to Spirit-led compassion.

“Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer… and thy darkness be as the noonday.”

2. GOD’s Glory Is Manifested in Righteous Separation and Fruitfulness (Psalm 1:1–4, 6).

The blessed man walks not in ungodly counsel but delights in THE LAW OF THE LORD. He is like a tree planted by rivers, fruitful and enduring. The ungodly, however, are like chaff driven by the wind. This is Exceeding Glory—a life rooted in righteousness, flourishing under divine watchfulness.

“For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

3. GOD’s Glory Is Fulfilled in Compassionate Service and Eternal Inheritance (Matthew 25:31–40).

JESUS CHRIST, seated in Glory, separates the sheep from the goats based on acts of mercy: feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and imprisoned. These acts are counted as service unto CHRIST Himself. This is Shining Glory—a reward for living out the Gospel in tangible love.

“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these MY brethren, ye have done it unto ME.”

Earthly desires must be put to death, and the new self must be renewed in knowledge after the image of its Creator. This is Exceeding Glory—a transformation that reflects CHRIST’s nature and breaks every barrier.

> “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth… CHRIST is all, and in all.”

3. GOD’s Glory Is Manifested in Prophetic Blessing and Eternal Reward (Luke 6:20–26).

JESUS CHRIST declares blessings upon the poor, the hungry, and the persecuted, promising heavenly reward. HE also warns those who are rich, full, and praised by men. This is Shining Glory—a prophetic reversal where humility and suffering for righteousness are honoured by THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

> “Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled… Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in Heaven.”
