Brethren, the wisdom for daily living is this: Reflect daily on never sabotaging the dreams of others to facilitate your success. True greatness is not built on the ruins of another’s hope. Have you not heard the saying that you can avoid being broke if you avoid the bait of borrowed money? The bait is sweet, but the hook is bitter. Believers must cultivate the mindset of saving on rainy days—of preparing in peace for the storms that will surely come. The Holy Spirit equips us to dream and build with integrity. There is no elevator to becoming successful; only the staircase of stewardship, discipline, and grace. Let us climb it with clean hands and a pure heart, trusting that the God who sees in secret will reward openly.
