Beloved in Christ, today we stand on a divine command—a mandate not rooted in human tradition but in God’s eternal decree. The Lord issues a call to His people to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. This is not merely an instruction for Israel’s welfare but a spiritual principle tied to prosperity and divine alignment.

Why does God call us to pray for Jerusalem? The answer lies in the heart of His covenant. Jerusalem is not just a city; it is the epicentre of His promises, the land upon which His Name dwells.
