My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, reflect upon the profound question asked in the title of today’s homily: “What role is God playing in your life?” Are you allowing Him to be the Divine Director of your life’s journey, or are you trying to call the shots?

Many of us may find ourselves constantly searching for meaning, purpose, and fulfilment in this world. We seek answers in our accomplishments, possessions, relationships, and external sources of validation. However, true peace and joy can only be found in surrendering to the Will of God.

God, the Creator of the Universe, has a Unique plan and purpose for each one of us. He is the loving and all-knowing Director who orchestrates every aspect of our lives for our ultimate good. When we stop trying to control everything and instead submit to His Will, we allow Him to work miracles in our lives.

Let us pray for the Grace to trust in God’s perfect plan for us and to submit our will to His Divine Guidance. May we stop searching for fulfilment in all the wrong places and instead surrender to the loving Hands of our Heavenly Father. Amen.
