Today, we are reminded of the profound truth that we cannot possibly love God enough. No matter how much we strive to love Him, our human limitations will always fall short of His infinite love for us. But in recognising this, we are called to love above all – to love unconditionally, sacrificially, and without bounds.

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus tells us, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.” These words challenge us to love God above all, and to let that love overflow into how we treat others.

As we navigate through the complexities of life, let us remember that our ultimate calling is to love above all. Let us strive to love God with all that we have, and to actively show that love to those around us. May we constantly seek ways to grow in love, knowing that in doing so, we are fulfilling the greatest commandment.
