SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION – WEEK 48 ENDING 02/12/2023

Be motivated to read loudly over your life and family the following Scriptures:

1. 1 Chronicles 16:11; 2 Chronicles 6:21; Romans 8:26.
“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Hear the supplications of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

2. Psalm 5:3; Psalm 42:8; Psalm 96:10-13; Acts 2:42; Colossians 4:2; 1 Timothy 4:5.
“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. Say among the nations, The LORD reigns! Yes, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.”

3. Psalm 54:2; Psalm 118:5-6; Acts 12:5; Philippians 1:19; 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
“O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth. From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me? So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.  For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

4. Psalm 27:13; Psalm 46:5; Psalm 51:10; Psalm 148:13; Esther 4:14; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 5:14; Luke 1:37.
“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord”s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Let them all praise the name of the LORD! His name is greater than all others; his glory is above earth and heaven. …Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this? For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. For the word of God will never fail.”

5. Job 22:27; Isaiah 12:4-5; Jeremiah 29:12; Matthew 6:7; John 17:15; Ephesians 1:18; Ephesians 6:18; James 5:13.
“You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. And on that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted. Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.”

6. 2 Chronicles 33:12-13; Psalm 4:1; Psalm 31; Psalm 39:12; Matthew 26:39.
“And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room. Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed. I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel. For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake. Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. Hear to my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; hold not your peace at my tears! For I am a sojourner with you, a guest, like all my fathers. And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

7. Psalm 4:1-8; Proverbs 16:1-9; Philippians 1:20-22.
“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the LORD. There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?”

LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.

By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. In the measure of my strong hope and belief that in nothing will I be put to shame, but that without fear, as at all times, so now will Christ have glory in my body, by life or by death. For to me life is Christ and death is profit. But if I go on living in the flesh–if this is the fruit of my work–then I do not see what decision to make.”

8. Philippians 1:23-26; Philippians 4:1-8.
“For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive so I can continue to help all of you grow and experience the joy of your faith. And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me.  Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life. Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

We now claim as follows:

May You answer us when we call to You, O righteous God. Give us relief from all our distresses; be merciful to us and hear our prayer. May we be godly, because You have set apart the godly for Yourself. We shall receive daily assurance that You hear us when we call to You. May we not sin in our anger, but rather, may we search our hearts and be silent. May we offer the right sacrifices and trust in You, Lord. Let the light of Your face shine upon us, O Lord.

May we know that our ways may seem innocent to us and others, but our motives are weighed by You, Lord. Teach us to examine our motives. May we commit to the Lord whatever we do, so that our plans may succeed. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord, a man avoids evil. May we have a fear of You, Lord, that helps us to avoid evil. May our ways be pleasing to You, Lord, so that even our enemies live at peace with us. Remind us that in our hearts we plan our courses. But You, Lord, determine our steps. It shall all end in praises for us,  all to Your glory, O Lord!  Fill our heart with greater joy than when grain and new wine abound,  greater joy than we have ever known shall fill our heart. May we lie down and sleep in peace, and know that You alone, O Lord, make us dwell in safety.

May we in no way be ashamed, but have sufficient courage so that now as always You, Jesus, may be exalted in our body, whether by life or by death. May we be willing to say, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” May our joy in You, Jesus, overflow. May we rejoice in You, Lord, always.

May our gentleness be evident to all. Remind us always that You, Lord, are near. May we not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we shall always present our requests to You, God. May Your peace, God, which transcends all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Whatever is true, noble, right, lovely, admirable – If anything is excellent or praiseworthy — may we forever think about such things.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WE RECEIVE ANSWERS TO ALL OUR PRAYERS. AMEN.
