• Exceptional Glory: His Righteousness revealed to all nations.

• Exceeding Glory: Light and Joy reserved for those who walk uprightly.

Pentecostal believers understand that Righteousness positions them to experience divine light and joy.

3. John 20:2–8 — The Glory of Resurrection Faith

Mary reports that the tomb is empty. Peter and the other disciple run to the tomb; the other disciple arrives first, sees the linen cloths, and believes.

Interpretation:

• Shining Glory: The Empty Tomb revealing the victory of Jesus Christ over death.

• Exceptional Glory: The faith that arises from witnessing the signs of Resurrection.

• Exceeding Glory: The new creation reality inaugurated by the Risen Christ.

Pentecostal believers see resurrection faith as the engine of boldness, hope, and spiritual authority.

Light is sown for the righteous; joy is the inheritance of the upright.
