Introduction

To our beloved brethren throughout all streams of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), both in Nigeria and abroad, may grace and peace overflow to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We share this message not from a place of superiority, but from the sacred ground of Divine conviction. The Remnant Movement of CAC carries Aaron’s staff—not as a symbol of exclusion, but as a testament to divine affirmation. As recorded in Numbers 17:8, “the staff of Aaron… had sprouted, put forth buds, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.” This is our testimony: the Lord’s choice is clear, yielding abundant fruit.

This fruit is not for isolation but for the healing of the Body. The Lord is calling us back to the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16), not to revisit past dysfunction but to reignite the flames of Revival and foster unity. We seek reconciliation not merely for its own sake, but for divine alignment, enabling us to walk together in truth, holiness, and the power of the Apostles.

Revival Is Our Pathway, Unity Is Our Posture

The CAC is dedicated to restoring its strength and fostering a sense of unity among its members by embracing the guiding principles encapsulated in the phrase “One Fold, One Shepherd.” This phrase draws inspiration from John 10:16, which emphasises the importance of collective harmony under the leadership of Christ. This vision extends beyond a simple reminiscence of past unity; it serves as a prophetic call to action for individuals and congregations alike.

The founders of this movement had a clear and ambitious goal: to establish a Spirit-filled Church that is deeply anchored in the truth of the Gospel. They envisioned a community ignited by the transformative power of Pentecost, one committed to spreading love, hope, and faith. Instead of creating divisions or factions among believers, the CAC seeks to heal fractures and foster an environment where all can thrive together in their shared faith. Through this renewed commitment, the coalition aims to become a beacon of unity and strength in today’s society.

Emphasising a resolute return to deeply held convictions, the Remnant Movement is unwavering in its commitment to five essential pillars that guide our mission and actions.

First and foremost, we believe that the foundation of everything we do should be anchored in absolute truth. This commitment is inspired by the message of 2 Corinthians 13:8, which asserts the importance of truthfulness in our pursuits. We aim to engage openly and honestly, ensuring that our actions reflect fidelity to what is right and just.

Secondly, we are called to uphold a standard of holiness in our lives and our community, resonating with the command in 1 Peter 1:16, which instructs us to be holy as God is holy. This involves not only personal purity but also fostering an environment that encourages righteousness and virtuous living among our members.

Our third pillar emphasises the significance of spiritual growth, articulated through the steadfast teachings and fellowship highlighted in Acts 2:42. We are dedicated to nurturing a community where believers can grow in faith, knowledge, and spiritual maturity, supporting one another in a shared commitment to discipleship and continuous learning.

We embrace the vital essence of spiritual integrity. As highlighted in Matthew 5:37, we are called to embody honesty and transparency in all our interactions. This principle inspires us to cultivate trust within our community, holding ourselves accountable to one another, ensuring our commitments and words resonate with our actions.

Moreover, we are encouraged to seek divine alignment in every endeavour, turning to God’s word for guidance, as expressed in Psalm 119:133. This journey requires prayerful discernment and a heartfelt willingness to align our plans and desires with God’s purposes, allowing us to remain steadfast in pursuing His will for our lives and our movement.

Together, these five principles form a robust foundation for a revitalized movement that is deeply rooted in faith and purpose. They guide our actions, foster community, and inspire us to live out our convictions with courage and integrity in a world that often challenges such commitments.

A Digital Age, A Spiritual Foundation

In the midst of this digital age, where the cacophony of distractions often overshadows the quiet whispers of the Spirit, we affirm our unwavering commitment to spiritual integrity as our guiding principle. We recognise that we live in a time when trends and fads can easily lead us astray, yet we choose to remain firmly anchored in the enduring truth that transcends such ephemeral influences.

The Remnant Movement is not simply an act of defiance against contemporary norms; rather, it embodies a profound return—a reconnection with our spiritual roots. We are called to revisit the altar, embracing a place of deep reverence and communion with God. We seek to immerse ourselves in the timeless wisdom of the Word, allowing it to illuminate our paths and shape our lives. Above all, we strive to be attuned to the leading of the Spirit, welcoming its guidance as we navigate the complexities of modern life. This movement beckons us back to the essentials of our faith, fostering a renewed commitment to our spiritual heritage.

A Prophetic Mandate, Not a Political Movement

The Remnant Movement of CAC, both in Nigeria and across the globe, is characterised not merely as a reaction but rather as a profound and divinely inspired response to the challenges we face today. Our mission transcends simply negotiating with the dysfunction that often pervades our society; we are passionately contending for a future filled with purpose and destiny. Just as the Prophet Elijah stood resolutely on Mount Carmel and boldly proclaimed, “If the Lord be God, follow Him” (1 Kings 18:21), we too now stand firm in our commitment, urging every segment of the Church to make a deliberate choice to embrace the transformative fire of revival rather than settling for the remnants of disunity and division.

In this significant moment in time, we believe the Lord is not merely gathering us for a discussion or dialogue, but is, in fact, issuing a heartfelt summons to the sacred altar. This call is one that invites us to lay down our differences, seek His presence, and ignite a genuine revival that will bring about healing and restoration within our communities. Our gathering is marked by a desire not only for unity but for a powerful encounter with God that will propel us toward fulfilling our divine destinies. We stand together, hopeful and determined, ready to respond to His call with fervour and faith.

We proudly embrace our apostolic heritage, understanding its significance in shaping our faith and mission. In the spirit of the Apostle Paul, we boldly affirm, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto Salvation” (Romans 1:16). This declaration serves as a cornerstone of our belief, reminding us that our foundation is rooted not in institutional policies or traditions, but in our relationship with the Divine.

We feel a strong call to return to the vibrant essence of the Pentecostal flame, prioritising spiritual revival over bureaucratic constraints. Just as the prophet Elijah rebuilt the altar to God, we are committed to reconstructing the altar of unity within our communities. This process involves a dedicated effort to reconnect and heal, one step at a time—stone by stone, as described in 1 Kings 18:30. Our prayer is that through this sacred rebuilding, the fire of the Spirit will once again descend, igniting passion and purpose in our lives and among our people. We seek a transformative renewal that will empower us to fulfil our mission with courage and conviction.

We find ourselves in a pivotal season, one that demands our active participation rather than complacent neutrality. This is a time for deliberate alignment with our values and beliefs. In the spirit of Joshua’s powerful declaration, “Choose you this day whom ye will serve” (Joshua 24:15), we extend a heartfelt invitation to every stream within the CAC to come together. Our aim is not to uphold longstanding traditions, but rather to earnestly seek out transformation that reflects our commitment to spiritual growth and renewal.

The Remnant Movement should not be misunderstood as a mere offshoot or division; rather, it represents a vibrant spark of hope and revival. This spark has the potential to awaken and mobilise the seemingly dry bones of our movement, energising them into a formidable army of faith, as depicted in the vision of Ezekiel 37:10. Let us embrace this calling to rise up, fostering unity, and becoming catalysts for powerful change within our communities and beyond.

We approach our message with profound humility, yet we do so with a clarity and boldness that cannot be ignored. Just as the trumpet is meant to sound out clearly to gather those who hear it, we too must ensure our voices resonate with certainty and purpose, echoing the sentiment found in 1 Corinthians 14:8.

The Lord does not intend to return for a fragmented or dishevelled bride. Still, instead of a united Church, pure and radiant, free from any imperfections, as described in Ephesians 5:27. This is a call to all factions within the body of Christ—not one of intimidation, but rather a clarion call meant to inspire awakening and renewal.

We are witnessing signs of growth and promise around us; the staff has not just budded, but it has produced visible fruit that is undeniable. The time for action, for unity, and for revival is upon us. Let us seize this moment with determination and commitment, embracing the vision of a Church that stands together, ready to fulfil its purpose.

A Humble Invitation

To every faction, every assembly, every leader, and member of the CAC, both within Nigeria and across the globe: we reach out to you not with the intent of compromise, but with a call to dedication. Let us gather at the table—not merely to engage in debates or exchange differing opinions, but to seek true clarity in our mission and vision. Rather than arguing over our diverse perspectives, let us strive to align our hearts and efforts in unity.

We should not allow our energies and efforts to be consumed by the preservation of our own personal empires or the pursuit of individual agendas. Instead, we must commit ourselves entirely to advancing His Kingdom and embodying its fundamental principles. This requires a shift in our priorities, urging us to look beyond our own interests and strive for a greater purpose that aligns with the values and teachings of His Kingdom. By doing so, we can foster a community built on love, compassion, and mutual respect, ultimately working towards a collective betterment that transcends individual desires.

With heartfelt passion, we lift our voices in prayer for a dynamic wave of spiritual fervour to sweep through us once again. Let the flames of revival ignite our hearts and inspire our communities! We yearn for every obstacle that hinders our progress to be shattered, paving the way for transformation. Together, we seek fresh life and flourishing growth in every facet of our movement, represented by the blossoming of our staff, reaching out and taking root in every corner of our communities.

The Lord has yet to conclude His mission with the CAC; what we are experiencing now is just the start of an exciting new chapter in His divine work among us. It is essential for us to remain receptive to His guidance and to prepare ourselves for the transformative journey that lies ahead.
