What Would Jesus Christ Watch About CAC Nigeria and Overseas Today?

In a thoughtful exploration of divine discernment, we are prompted to consider what observations Jesus Christ might make regarding the Christ Apostolic Church today. This inquiry transcends mere rhetoric; it invites deep spiritual reflection and encourages individuals to align their lives with the teachings of the Word of God.

1. Unity and Division in the Body of Christ

CAC Nigeria and Overseas is actively working to address the complexities surrounding the administrative divisions, which result in various factions operating independently. This situation not only complicates governance but also highlights the urgent need for cohesion within the community.

In this context, it is essential to reflect on the Scriptural wisdom found in 1 Corinthians 1:10, where the Apostle Paul urges believers to come together in agreement and set aside their differences. This passage serves as a crucial reminder of the necessity for unity. It is imperative that we consciously strive for harmony in both our thoughts and actions, as doing so will better equip us to navigate the challenges we face.

The significance of this unity is further reinforced by Jesus’ poignant prayer for His followers, as recorded in John 17:21. In this Scripture, He expresses His deep desire for oneness among believers emphasisingng that division is fundamentally contrary to His vision for the community of faith. Therefore, as we move forward, it is vital to prioritise this call for unity, understanding that it is not only a theological imperative but also a practical necessity for effective collaboration and progress.

2. Spiritual Revival and Evangelism

CAC Nigeria and its overseas branches consistently organise annual events, conferences, and evangelical mission in Nigeria and internationally. These gatherings serve not only as opportunities for worship and fellowship but also as platforms for teaching and spreading the message of the Gospel. Rooted in the Scriptural directive found in Mark 16:15, where Jesus commands His followers to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation,” CAC’s activities reflect a deep commitment to this mission.

Through meticulously planned evangelical missions, the church actively seeks to reach diverse communities, sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ and fostering spiritual growth among individuals. In addition to these efforts, CAC places a strong emphasis on youth ministries, recognising the importance of nurturing the next generation of believers. Programs focused on empowering young people with biblical knowledge, leadership skills, and a sense of purpose are integral to its mission

By engaging in these focused efforts, CAC demonstrates its unwavering commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission. The church’s endeavours not only highlight its dedication to spreading the Gospel but also reflect the faithfulness and oversight of Jesus, who watches over their mission as they strive to impact lives positively both locally and globally.

3. Leadership and Legacy

The passing of any principal officer from the CAC factions marks a pivotal moment in the church’s history, presenting a crucial opportunity for a more cohesive and unified administration. These leaders, whose remarkable contributions have decisively shaped the spiritual and organisational dynamics of the church, leave behind legacies that demand recognition through meticulously organized burial programs. These tributes not only commemorate their impactful lives and work but also reinforce the deep respect and reverence that congregants maintain for their spiritual leaders across these various factions.

Despite the heartfelt ceremonies and efforts to celebrate these leaders’ legacies, the divisions that have existed within the church persist, casting a shadow over the prospect of unity. The challenges faced by the church are a reminder of the complex dynamics that can arise even during times of mourning and remembrance.

In light of these circumstances, the Scripture from Hebrews 13:7 resonates profoundly. It urges the congregation to actively remember and reflect on the leaders who faithfully spoke the word of God, encouraging individuals to contemplate their teachings and the impact of their lives. This call to remembrance is not merely an exercise in nostalgia but serves as an invitation for the church community to honour its spiritual fathers by embodying their principles and emulating their unwavering faith. By doing so, church members can play a crucial role in perpetuating their legacy in righteousness and truth, fostering a renewed spirit of unity and purpose within the church.

4. Doctrinal Purity and Holiness

CAC is dedicated to maintaining holiness and doctrinal purity, core principles that have defined its foundation. This commitment is echoed in Scripture, specifically in Hebrews 12:14, which encourages believers to pursue peace and holiness, as without it, one cannot see the Lord. Additionally, there is an emphasis on the importance of preserving holiness within the church, urging believers to avoid conforming to worldly standards as noted in Romans 12:2.

There is growing concern regarding certain factions within the church that are employing questionable methods to raise funds abroad. These approaches sharply contradict the foundational Tenets of the church, which assert that faith should not be tied to material wealth.

Additionally, some individuals are exploiting church-related events, such as ordinations and conferences, to enrich themselves at the expense of others, deviating from the principles of doctrinal purity and holiness established by the church’s founders. As a member of the Remnant faction, I firmly oppose these practices and believe they misrepresent the church’s true values such attitude

5. Youth and Women Empowerment

CAC is deeply committed to the active involvement of youth and women in its various specialised ministries. This dedication is rooted in a foundational belief that aligns with the Biblical promise expressed in Acts 2:17. The Scripture emphasises that in the last days, God’s Spirit will be poured out upon all people, empowering both sons and daughters to prophesy. This prophetic promise underlines the significance of nurturing and empowering every believer, regardless of their age or gender, to serve as instruments of God’s Spirit.

In practice, this means creating opportunities for young people and women to take on leadership roles, engage in ministry activities, and participate fully in the life of the church. By fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their gifts and talents, CAC aims to build a vibrant community that reflects the diverse body of Christ. This approach not only enriches the ministry but also helps to cultivate a sense of belonging and purpose among all members.

6. The Remnant Move

The Remnant movement is experiencing an extraordinary surge in growth and influence, capturing the hearts and attention of many across diverse communities. This movement represents a significant awakening of spiritual hunger and a profound desire for revival among believers, embodying a collective yearning for deeper faith and a closer connection with the Divine.

The rise of this movement is electrifyingly connected to the powerful message found in Romans 11:5! This verse reveals an incredible truth: even in the toughest moments, God’s Grace sustains a remarkable remnant chosen to carry the torch of hope. It’s a thrilling testament to divine selection and the unwavering faith that shines brightly among those who remain steadfast, no matter the challenges they face. This enduring spirit of resilience and belief is nothing short of inspiring!

The concept of the Remnant holds profound significance in today’s spiritual landscape, resonating deeply with individuals who strive to uphold their beliefs amidst a backdrop of constant societal changes and challenges. This movement, which has seen considerable growth, embodies a compelling conviction that Jesus remains ever-vigilant in watching over the emergence of the Remnant. It is viewed as a testament to His steadfast commitment to nurturing and preserving a faithful community devoted to Him.

The Remnant is not merely an abstract historical or theological notion; rather, it represents a living reality that encapsulates Jesus’ ongoing active engagement in the world. This dynamic presence signals His continuous work in guiding and sustaining a group of believers who earnestly seek a genuine relationship with Him. As they navigate the complexities of modern life, this faithful remnant draws strength and encouragement from the belief that they are not alone in their journey. Instead, they are part of a divine narrative that showcases His unwavering support and promise to maintain a people who reflect His character and uphold His teachings.

As society undergoes rapid transformation, the Remnant serves as a beacon of hope and a source of affirmation for those committed to their faith. It emphasises the idea that, even in challenging times, God’s purpose and design for a devoted community endure, urging believers to remain steadfast and resolute. Through this lens, the Remnant embodies both a call to action and a reassurance of divine providence, reaffirming the belief that God is intimately involved in the lives of those who are earnestly pursuing Him.

The Remnant movement, led by Pastor (Dr) A. A. Ayodele, Pastor A. Muhammed, Pastor (Barrister) D. Udofia, and myself, represents the united leadership of CAC both in Nigeria and abroad. We are deeply committed to uplifting and empowering every member and leader within our community. Spearheading the exodus from factionalisation and returning to the Tenets of the Church ensrined in the Article of Association of 1943 and that of 1985 Certificate of Incorporation.

The Remnant movement is committed to nurturing faith and promoting the well-being of its members. It holds a firm belief that the Affirmation will strengthen the connection between CAC Nigeria and its members and leaders abroad. This connection honours the efforts of their ancestors and is expected to spark the end-time Revival that God promised from the outset, bridging the past and the present in their spiritual journey.

The Remnant move believe that such Affirmation will eventually link CAC Nigeria and Overseas members and leaders to the Labour of our fathers to eventually provoke us to the end-time Revival that God promised our fathers at the beginning.
