THE DISCIPLINE OF LONGEVITY AND THE PROFIT OF GODLINESS

Friends, have you not heard the saying that longevity is a function of adequately training your body and living a Godly life? The Apostle Paul reminds us that bodily exercise profiteth little, but Godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. The Holy Spirit does not despise physical discipline but elevates spiritual devotion.

Cultivate the mindset of training your body for the little profit it attracts—health, strength, and endurance—but do not neglect the eternal profit of Godliness. Jesus Christ lived with purpose, walked in purity, and modelled obedience. Reflect daily on this: think good to see good. For the thoughts of the righteous are life-giving, and the fruit of a renewed mind is peace.

Let your body be a servant, not a master. Let your spirit be trained in righteousness, and your life shall flourish both now and eternally.

JESUS IS LORD
