THE WISDOM OF WAITING

THE WISDOM OF WAITING

Friends, have you not heard the saying that movement is about the first step in the right direction at the right time? It is not merely about moving, but with purpose, discernment, and divine timing.

Abraham waited, Joseph waited, and even Jesus Christ waited until the appointed time to begin His public ministry. Why do we rush ahead of the Lord, as though our timing could ever be better than His?

To wait upon the LORD is not to be idle. It is to be attentive. It is to be prayerful. It is to be expectant. God’s Waiting Room is not a place of punishment, but a place of preparation.

Here is wisdom for daily living: Reflect daily on your attitude towards waiting upon the LORD. Are you anxious, or are you anchored? Are you restless, or are you rooted in faith?

Let us not be like those who run ahead and miss the blessing. Let us be those who walk in step with the Holy Spirit, trusting that the One who holds time in His hands will never be late.

JESUS IS LORD
