Brethren, the wisdom for daily living is this: Reflect daily on the cleanness of your spiritual vision—your ability to see into the spirit realm. Losing sight of what truly matters is easy in a world filled with noise and illusion. But the believer is called to see as Heaven sees—to discern the eternal in the midst of the temporal. Jesus Christ taught that the eye is the lamp of the body; if our eye is sound, our whole being is full of light. The Holy Spirit grants us insight into Scripture and the hidden workings of God’s Kingdom. Let us guard our spiritual sight, turning away from darkness and fixing our eyes on the Author and Finisher of our faith. For in seeing clearly, we live purposefully.
