Brethren, every breakthrough begins with alignment. Every release of divine favour flows from obedience to God’s prophetic agenda. One of the deepest mysteries of spiritual warfare is the revelation that praying for Jerusalem opens the floodgates of foundational breakthroughs.

Jerusalem is the apple of God’s eye. Praying for her peace is to defend God’s own possession. Those who war against Jerusalem war against God’s covenant, but those who intercede for her invoke the blessings of divine preservation.

What does this mean for us? Pentecostal renewal theology teaches that foundational breakthroughs come when believers engage in strategic intercession. Seeking the peace of Jerusalem is directly connected to prosperity and divine intervention. The Lord urges us to give Him no rest until His purposes are fulfilled. These are principles of Kingdom advancement that open supernatural doors.

As we pray, we do not merely petition for political stability or safety; we contend for the spiritual awakening of a city chosen by God. We declare that Jerusalem must be a place of revival, that blind eyes must open to the revelation of Jesus Christ, and that peace must reign as a testimony of divine order.

Let this homily ignite a fervent commitment within us. The Holy Spirit is calling His Church to step into prophetic intercession—to wage war in prayer, claim breakthroughs, and hasten Jerusalem’s coming restoration. May our prayers be counted among those who shape destiny and bring forth divine transformation.
