Dear friends, as we reflect on the beginning of the year’s second quarter, let us remember the importance of Thanksgiving in our lives. Through our gratitude and praise, we not only honour God but also open doors to receive His abundant blessings. Psalm 67:5-7 is written: “Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.” This passage reminds us that when we offer our thanksgiving to God, He will shower us with His blessings and cause our lives to flourish.

Let us cultivate a habit of thanksgiving in all circumstances, for even in the darkest moments, there is always something to be thankful for. Let us not allow the challenges of life to steal our joy or dampen our spirit, but let us lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving, knowing that God sees our hearts and will respond with His Goodness. As we journey through this second quarter of the year, let our hearts be filled with gratitude, our lips with praise, and our minds with faith in the God who provides abundantly. May we walk in the assurance that as we give thanks, God will open up new doors of blessings and grace in our lives. Amen.
