My dear brothers and sisters, as we gather here today, let us take a moment to reflect on the immense sacrifice that our Lord made for each and every one of us on the Cross. The pain and suffering that He endured out of His boundless love for us should be a constant reminder of the depth of His sacrifice and the magnitude of His love.

Just as Jesus willingly took up His cross, may we also embrace our crosses with courage and faith, knowing His Grace will sustain us through every trial and tribulation. Let us be grateful for His selfless act of redemption and strive to live our lives in a manner that honours His Sacrifice.

As we leave this place, let us remember our Lord’s suffering in our hearts and be inspired by His example of unfailing Love and Forgiveness. May we find strength in His Sacrifice and Hope in His Resurrection, knowing that He has conquered sin and death for all eternity. Amen.
