Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we gather to reflect on the importance of seeking righteousness and trusting in God’s sovereign plan for our lives. The Scriptures teach us that seeking Righteousness is not only about adhering to moral laws but also about aligning our hearts with God’s Will and Purpose for us. In Matthew 6:33, we are reminded to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

As we strive to seek Righteousness, we must also learn to find security in God’s Presence. Just as Proverbs 18:10 tells us, “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” When we trust in God’s Presence, we can rest assured that He is always with us, guiding and protecting us in all circumstances.

Moreover, we need to trust in God’s Sovereign Plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God’s Plans for us are far greater than we can imagine, and when we trust in His Sovereignty, we can walk confidently in the path He has laid out for us.

Let us, therefore, cultivate a mindset of seeking Righteousness, finding Security in God’s Presence, and trusting in His Sovereign Plan. By doing so, we can live with purpose, knowing that God is working all things together for our good.
