In this homily, we explore the transformative power of cultivating a heart that is firmly rooted in hope, patient in affliction, and unwavering in faith. The journey towards becoming joyful in hope begins with acknowledging the source of our hope – Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we find true and lasting Joy, a Joy that transcends circumstances and radiates from within, lighting up even the darkest moments of our lives.

As we navigate the storms of affliction, we are called to embody Patience – a Virtue that requires us to trust in God’s providence and timing. Patience is not passive resignation but an active choice to persevere with steadfastness and grace, knowing that God is working all things together for our Good.
