My dear brothers and sisters, in our journey of faith, we are called to press on toward the prize that God has set before us. Just as the Apostle Paul wrote, we are to forget what is behind us and strain toward what is ahead. This means letting go of our past mistakes and sins and focusing on the goal that God has planned for us.

As we press on toward the prize, we are reminded that it is not a prize that we earn by our own merit, but one that is given to us through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our goal is not just an earthly achievement or success, but the ultimate prize of eternal life in communion with God.

Let us therefore be encouraged to continue in our faith, knowing that God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus. Let us fix our eyes on Him, who is the author and perfecter of our faith, and press on toward the prize with perseverance and determination. May we all run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that our efforts are not in vain, but will lead us to the prize of eternal glory in Christ Jesus. Amen.
