PAUSE TO PRAISE: REFLECTING ON THE WONDERS OF GOD

PAUSE TO PRAISE: REFLECTING ON THE WONDERS OF GOD

My dear brothers and sisters, in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, it is easy to overlook the beauty and majesty of God’s Creation that surrounds us. We rush from one task to another, barely pausing to take a breath, let alone to wonder and worship. But today I urge you to take time to wonder and worship. To marvel at the intricate details of a flower, the vastness of the starlit sky, and the diversity of the creatures that inhabit our world. Remember that God inhabits the Praise of His People.

In the book of Psalms, we are reminded to “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2). When we take time to wonder and worship, we are reminded of the Goodness and Faithfulness of our God. We are humbled by His Power and awed by His Creativity. And in that state of awe and wonder, we find ourselves drawn closer to Him, our hearts overflowing with Gratitude and Praise.

So, my dear friends, I encourage you to slow down, look around, and take time to wonder and worship. Let your soul be lifted up in Praise and Adoration of the One who created all things. For in those moments of wonder and worship, we draw closer to God and experience His Presence in a profound and transformative way.

May we all make room in our lives for wonder and worship, for in doing so, we open our hearts to the beauty and majesty of our Creator and find ourselves forever changed by His Love.
