Beloved community, today we are reminded of the promise of the Father as declared by Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8, where He promises the disciples that they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. This promise is a source of strength, courage, and empowerment for all believers.

The lesson we draw from this promise is the call to live with boldness and confidence in our faith. The Holy Spirit equips us with the power to proclaim the Gospel, to overcome obstacles, and to bear witness to the love of God in the world.
