As we approach Palm Sunday, we are reminded of the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, with people waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna in the highest!” It is a joyous occasion, a moment of celebration and praise. But as we reflect on this event, we are also called to examine our own hearts and ask ourselves: do we truly welcome Jesus as our King and Saviour? Are we willing to follow Him, not just in times of celebration, but also in times of trial and suffering? Let us remember that true discipleship requires more than just lip service – it requires a willingness to take up our cross and follow Jesus, even when the journey is difficult. Let us welcome Jesus into our hearts today, and may our hosannas be more than just words, but a reflection of our commitment to serve Him faithfully.
