Dear friends, as we reflect on the promise of the Holy Spirit, let us consider how we can become fully suitable dwellings for the Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, it says, “Don’t you know that your body is a temple that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit, whom you received from God, lives in you. You don’t belong to yourselves. You were bought for a price. So bring glory to God in the way you use your body.” We are called to honour God by being pure in heart, by seeking righteousness, and by serving others with humility and love. By doing so, we create a dwelling place where the Spirit can reside, guiding and empowering us for the work of God’s kingdom. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to dwell within us and transform us, so that we may be living witnesses of Christ’s love and grace. As we welcome the Spirit into our lives, let us strive to honour God in all that we do, using our bodies, minds, and souls to serve God and others with joy and dedication. That’s it!!!
