SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION – WEEK 51 ENDING 23/12/2023

SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION – WEEK 51 ENDING 23/12/2023

Be motivated to read the following Scriptures loudly over your life, family and congregation:

1. Psalms 71:1-5, 17-21; Romans 5:1-7, 6:1-13.
“In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame. Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me. Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.

“O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side.

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;  and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

“What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

2. Deuteronomy 27:10; 28:58; 30:4, 6; Psalm 5:2-3; Matthew 6:9-13.
“Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
“If you refuse to obey all the words of instruction that are written in this book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome name of the LORD your God,
“If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there he will take you.
The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

“Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my aKing, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

“In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

3. Psalm 27; Ephesians 1:1-11.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

“God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his children – this was his pleasure and purpose. Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son! For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God, which he gave to us in such large measure! In all his wisdom and insight God did what he had purposed, and made known to us the secret plan he had already decided to complete by means of Christ. This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head. All things are done according to God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning.

4. Psalm 7; Psalm 62:7-12; Romans 6:6-7, 11-13.
“O Yahweh my Elohim, I have taken refuge in you. Save me, and rescue me from all who are pursuing me. Like a lion they will tear me to pieces and drag me off with no one to rescue me. O Yahweh my Elohim, if I have done this—if my hands are stained with injustice, if I have paid back my friend with evil or rescued someone who has no reason to attack me— then let the enemy chase me and catch me. Let him trample my life into the ground. Let him lay my honor in the dust. Selah Arise in anger, O Yahweh. Stand up against the fury of my attackers. Wake up, my God. You have already pronounced judgment.
Let an assembly of people gather around you. Take your seat high above them. Yahweh judges the people of the world. Judge me, O Yahweh, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity. Let the evil within wicked people come to an end, but make the righteous person secure, O righteous Elohim who examines thoughts and emotions. My Magen is Elohim above, who saves those whose motives are decent. Elohim is a fair Shophet, an El who is angered by injustice every day. If a person does not change, Elohim sharpens his sword. By bending his bow, he makes it ready to shoot. He prepares his deadly weapons and turns them into flaming arrows.
See how that person conceives evil, is pregnant with harm, and gives birth to lies. He digs a pit and shovels it out. Then he falls into the hole that he made for others. His mischief lands back on his own head. His violence comes down on top of him. I will give thanks to Yahweh for his righteousness. I will make music to praise the name of Yahweh Elyon.

“My salvation and my glory depend on Elohim. Elohim is the rock of my strength, my Machseh. Trust him at all times, you people. Pour out your hearts in his presence.
Elohim is our Machseh. Selah. Common people are only a whisper in the wind. Important people are only a delusion. When all of them are weighed on a scale, they amount to nothing. They are less than a whisper in the wind. Do not count on extortion to make you rich. Do not hope to gain anything through robbery. When riches increase, do not depend on them. Elohim has spoken once. I have heard it said twice: “Power belongs to Elohim. Mercy belongs to you, O Adonay. You reward a person based on what he has done.

“We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be done away with, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin. For a dead person has been absolved from sin. If, then, we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

5. Psalms 9:1-9; 91; Matthew 5:1-7.
“The heavens declare the glory of El, and the sky displays what his hands have made. One day tells a story to the next. One night shares knowledge with the next without talking, without words, without their voices being heard. Yet, their sound has gone out into the entire world, their message to the ends of the earth. He has set up a tent in the heavens for the sun, which comes out of its chamber like a bridegroom. Like a champion, it is eager to run its course. It rises from one end of the heavens. It circles around to the other. Nothing is hidden from its heat. The teachings of Yahweh are perfect. They renew the soul. The testimony of Yahweh is dependable. It makes gullible people wise. The instructions of Yahweh are correct. They make the heart rejoice. The command of Yahweh is radiant. It makes the eyes shine. The fear of Yahweh is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of Yahweh are true. They are completely fair.

“Whoever lives under the shelter of Elyon will remain in the shadow of Shadday. I will say to Yahweh, “You are my Machseh and my Metsuda, my Elohim in whom I trust.” He is the one who will rescue you from hunters’ traps and from deadly plagues. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His truth is your shield and armor. You do not need to fear terrors of the night, arrows that fly during the day, plagues that roam the dark, epidemics that strike at noon. They will not come near you, even though a thousand may fall dead beside you or ten thousand at your right side. You only have to look with your eyes to see the punishment of wicked people. You, O Yahweh, are my Machseh! You have made Elyon your home. No harm will come to you. No sickness will come near your house. He will put his angels in charge of you to protect you in all your ways. They will carry you in their hands so that you never hit your foot against a rock. You will step on lions and cobras. You will trample young lions and snakes. Because you love me, I will rescue you. I will protect you because you know my name. When you call to me, I will answer you. I will be with you when you are in trouble. I will save you and honor you. I will satisfy you with a long life. I will show you how I will save you.

“When Yeshua saw the crowds, he went up a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them: “Blessed are those who recognize they are spiritually helpless. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them. Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted. Blessed are those who are gentle. They will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for God’s approval. They will be satisfied. Blessed are those who show mercy. They will be treated mercifully.

6. Psalms 28:7-9, 29:9-11; Matthew 26:39, 41, 64, 27:54.
“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.

“The voice of Yahweh splits the oaks and strips the trees of the forests bare. Everyone in his temple is saying, “Glory!” Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood. Yahweh sits enthroned as Melek forever. Yahweh will give power to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.

“He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”

“Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

“Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

7. Psalms 5:4-12; 24; Matthew 25:31, 34-36, 40.
“You are not an El who takes pleasure in wickedness. Evil will never be your guest. Those who brag cannot stand in your sight. You hate all troublemakers. You destroy those who tell lies. Yahweh is disgusted with bloodthirsty and deceitful people. But I will enter your house because of your great mercy. Out of reverence for you, I will bow toward your holy temple. O Yahweh, lead me in your righteousness because of those who spy on me. Make your way in front of me smooth. Nothing in their mouths is truthful. Destruction comes from their hearts. Their throats are open graves. They flatter with their tongues. Condemn them, O Elohim. Let their own schemes be their downfall. Throw them out for their many crimes because they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them sing with joy forever. Protect them, and let those who love your name triumph in you. You bless righteous people, O Yahweh. Like a large shield, you surround them with your favor.

“The earth and everything it contains are Yahweh’s. The world and all who live in it are his. He laid its foundation on the seas and set it firmly on the rivers. Who may go up Yahweh’s mountain? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart and does not long for what is false or lie when he is under oath. This person will receive a blessing from Yahweh and righteousness from Elohim, his savior. This is the person who seeks him, who searches for the face of the El of Jacob. Selah Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted, you ancient doors, so that the Melek of glory may come in. Who is this Melek of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty! Yahweh, heroic in battle! Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted, you ancient doors, so that the Melek of glory may come in. Who, then, is this Melek of glory? Yahweh Tsebaoth is the Melek of glory! Selah

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all his angels are with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.”

“Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, my Father has blessed you! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’”

“The king will answer them, ‘I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.”

*We pray as follows:*

a). May we take refuge in You, O Lord. In Your Name,  we will never be put to shame. Rescue and deliver us in Your righteousness. Turn Your ear to us and save us.  Be our rock of refuge, to which we can always go. May we be able to say, “For You have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth.” Amen.

b). May we be able to say, “Since my youth, O God, You have taught me. To this day I declare Your marvelous deeds.” May we know and believe that Your righteousness reaches to the skies and that You, O God, have done great things. May we say, “Who, O God, is like You?” Though You have made us see troubles, many and bitter, may we know that You will restore our life. From the depths of the earth, You will again bring us up. May we know and believe that You will increase our honor and comfort us once again. Amen.

c). May we know and believe that since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with You, God, through Jesus, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. May we rejoice in our sufferings and know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. May we know that hope does not disappoint because You have poured out Your love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom You have given to us. May we know and believe that just at the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly – yes,  Christ died for us. Amen.

d). May we know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that our bodies of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. May we count our dead to sin but alive to You, God, in Christ Jesus! May we not let sin reign in our mortal body so that we obey its evil desires. May we not offer the parts of our bodies to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer ourselves to You, God, as You brought us from death to life; and may we offer the parts of our body to You as an instrument of righteousness. Amen.

e). May we obey You, Lord God, and follow Your commands. May we know that Your Name, God, is glorious and awesome, and is to be revered. May we know You are a God who always seeks to gather His people and bring them back to Him when they have strayed! Lord, may You circumcise our hearts so that we may love You with all our hearts and with all our souls, and live. Amen.

f). Listen to our cry for help, Lord,  You are our King and our God, for to You, we pray.  In the morning, O Lord, You will hear our voices; in the morning we will lay our requests before You and wait in expectation. Amen.

g). Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom comes, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

h). May we say of You, “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” When evil men advance against us to devour our flesh, when our enemies and foes attack us, may they stumble and fall. Though armies besiege us, may our heart not fear; though war breaks out against us, even then, may we be confident. David prayed, “One thing I ask Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” May our prayer also be to dwell in Your house, to gaze upon Your beauty, and to seek You, Lord. Amen.

i). May we know that though our father and mother forsake us, You, Lord, will receive us. Teach us Your way, O Lord. Lead us on a straight path. May we be confident of this: that we will see Your goodness, Lord, in the land of the living. May we wait for You, Lord. May we be strong take heart, and wait for You. Amen.

j). May we be faithful in You, Christ Jesus. May we have grace and peace from You, Father God, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, God, that You have blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. May we be aware of these blessings that are found only in Christ. Thank You, God, that You chose us in You before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in Your sight. Help us to be holy and blameless before You. Amen.

k). May we know that it was in love that You predestined us to be adopted as Your children through Jesus Christ, following Your pleasure and will. Help us to know that it was to the praise of Your glorious grace, Lord, that You have freely given to us in Christ Jesus. May we know that in You, Jesus, we have redemption through Your blood, the forgiveness of sins, per the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Help us to understand the riches of Your grace, God, that you have lavished on us. Thank You, God, that in Jesus we were chosen, having been predestined according to Your plan as You work out everything in conformity with the purpose of Your will. Amen.

l). Lord, may we take refuge in You.  Save and deliver us from all who pursue us,  to do evil or harm to us, both in the present and in the future. May we know that You are the righteous God who searches minds and hearts to bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure! May we be righteous! May we say, “My shield is God Most High who saves the upright in heart.”  May we be upright in heart. May we give thanks to You, Lord, because of Your righteousness. May we sing praise to Your name, Lord Most High. Amen.

m). May we know that our salvation and honour depend on You, God. You are our mighty rock, our refuge. May we trust in You at all times. May we pour out our heart to You, for You, God, are our refuge. May we know that You, God, are strong, and You, O Lord, are loving. Amen.

n). May we know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that our body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. May we count ourselves dead to sin but alive to You, God, in Christ Jesus! Amen.

o). May we not let sin reign in our mortal body so that we obey its evil desires. May we not offer the parts of our body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer ourselves to You, God, as one who has been brought from death to life; and may we offer the parts of our body to You as an instrument of righteousness. Amen.

p). May we know that the heavens declare Your glory, God; the skies proclaim the work of Your hands. May we know that Your law, Lord, is perfect, reviving the soul.  May we know that Your statutes are trustworthy, making wise the simple. May we know that Your precepts, Lord, are right, giving joy to the heart. May we know that Your commands are radiant, giving light to the eyes. May we know that the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. May we know that Your ordinances are sure and altogether righteous. Amen.

q). May we dwell in Your shelter, Lord Most High, and rest in Your shadow, the Almighty. May we say of You, Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings may we find refuge. May Your faithfulness, God, be our shield and rampart. May we make You, Most High, our dwelling and refuge so that no harm will befall us and no disaster will come near our tent. Amen.

r). May we recognize that we are poor in spirit before You and without You, Lord. When we mourn, may we be comforted by You, Lord. May we be meek. May we hunger and thirst for righteousness. May we be merciful to others. Amen.

s). May we say of You, “The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.” May we come to know You as our Strength and Fortress of our salvation. Lord, save us, for we are Yours. Be our shepherd and carry us forever. Amen.

t). May we know that in Your temple, all say, “Glory!” May we know that You sit enthroned over the flood. You are enthroned as King forever. May we know that You, Lord, give strength to Your people. You bless Your people with peace. Amen.

u). May our prayer be as Yours was, Jesus, “Yet not as I will, but as you will.” May we lay down our will for Your will. May we watch and pray so that we will not fall into temptation! May we know and believe that one day You, Jesus, the Son of Man, will come sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One coming on the clouds of heaven! May we say as the centurion and those that guarded Jesus said, “Surely You are the Son of God.” Amen.

v). May we know that You are not a God that takes pleasure in evil; with You, the wicked cannot dwell. Lead us, O Lord, in Your righteousness. Make straight Your way before us. May we take refuge in You and be glad; let us ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over us so that we may love Your Name and rejoice in You. May we know that surely, O Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as a shield. Bless us and surround us with Your favor every day. Amen.

w). May we know that the earth is Yours, Lord, and everything in it — the world, and all who live in it. May we know that You founded (the earth) upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Lord, may we have clean hands and a pure heart, and not lift up our soul to an idol or swear by what is false. Amen.

x). May we know that when You, Jesus, come in Your glory, and all the angels with You, You will sit on Your throne in heavenly glory. May we give food to the hungry, give drinks to the thirsty, give clothes to those who need clothing, look after the sick, and visit those in prison. May we care for people around us especially the children of God. Amen.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WE RECEIVE ANSWERS TO ALL OUR PRAYERS. AMEN.

PRAISE GOD, HALLELUJAH!
