What God asks us to do, many times is more about obedience than the actual thing we’re doing. It’s a test. If you obey, you’ll see God’s favour. It means that true strength comes from following through, even when the task seems small. Sure, that’s why He values obedience more than sacrifice! Isaiah 55:3 says when we listen to Him our souls will live and He will covenant with us with the sure mercies of David! Here it’s: “Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.” That’s it!!!
