Who will rebuild the Broken Walls of CAC?

Who will rebuild the Broken Walls of CAC?

Some observers are however not surprised that it was at the time of Pastor Orogun that things fell apart. They refer to prophecies after the death of Pastor Latunde, that Pastor Orogun must not be appointed president, as he was not God’s choice. They also mention God’s warning that if the Supreme Council went against His choice, He would visit the Church for many years. Thus, these observers believe that the Church is reaping the rewards of disobedience to God’s directive and that Pastor Olusheye and his group are actually instruments used by God to punish CAC for our disobedience.

But whatever may have caused the cracks in the walls of Christ Apostolic Church, whatever may have brought the once powerful and glorious Church to her low ebb, the important thing now is, it is time for the walls of the Church to be rebuilt. Time is short, as the second coming of our Lord Jesus is imminent. The work of the end-time spread of the gospel can only be done by a united, peaceful and strong Church, not by a divided and crisis-ridden Church. Crisis is Satan’s clever device for weakening the Church of God. CAC was at the fore front of the powerful and ground-breaking move of the Holy Spirit in the 1930’s. She can still reclaim her leadership position among the glorious army of the end-time.

But how can CAC be rebuilt? And who will rise up like Nehemiah to carry on his or her shoulders this heavy burden of restoration? Who is ready to deny himself or herself of comfort and stand in the gap for this great Church?

Only God can rebuild His Church, through people whom He chooses, not some revolutionists either from Pastor Olusheye’s side or even from amongst us, because the truth is, some amongst us are also already hoping for another revolution. But like the Holy Spirit raised the likes of Apostle Babalola and the founders of CAC to change the face of Christianity in the 1930’s, God can also change CAC into a Church well-pleasing unto Him in this end-time.

But God cannot do anything, except there be first, someone willing to stand in the gap in fervent prayer for CAC. (Ezekiel 22: 30).

The Bible records of Nehemiah as follows: –

“And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.” (Nehemiah 1: 4)

Dear reader, are you willing to stand in the gap? If you are, then consider the following carefully.

The first task is to consider your own life. Are your prayers weighty in the presence of God? Are you living a holy life that gives you unhindered access to God’s throne? This is because the Word of God says that God does not hear sinners. If not, then it is time to repent, for the sake of your soul and the restoration of your dear Church. Remember 1st Peter 4 verse 17a says that the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God!

To pastors desecrating the Sanctuary with lies, adultery and idolatory, and scattering God’s flock, it is time to repent. God is no respecter of persons. Stop plundering and scattering the “sheep” for whom Christ shed His precious blood! Remember that God, through the prophet Jeremiah, pronounced “woe” on pastors that destroy and scatter His sheep (Jeremiah 23: 1). What would be your reward, if after preaching to your congregation, many of them make it to heaven while their pastor ends up his journey in hell-fire? Let us learn from that great Apostle Paul who said: –

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

Let every pastor strive to lay the example of holiness and begin to teach his members, so that righteousness may cover CAC like waters cover the sea!

Then, let all CAC members who have the heart of Nehemiah, begin to pray to God for forgiveness; forgiveness of our sins and the sins of our leaders. Let us form several prayer cells all over the place to seek the face of God. Let assemblies organize prayer meetings where their members would gather to seek the face of God concerning resolution of the crisis. Let the same thing be done at the district level. Let Coordinating Councils hold joint prayer meetings in addition to their administrative meetings.
